Prof. Folakemi Odedina is Professor and Enterprise Deputy Director for Community Outreach & Engagement at the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center.
She leads the Health Equity Clinical Trials Strategy for the Mayo Clinic Clinical Trial Strategy andGovernance Leadership team. She is also the PI and Founding Global Director of the Prostate Cancer Transatlantic Consortium (CaPTC) and the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for the African Organization for Research and Training in Cancer (AORTIC) Research Committee. For almost 30 years, her research, education, training and community outreach activities have exclusively focused on addressing health disparities in minority and underserved communities globally. Her research program (funded primarily by NIH/National Cancer Institute and Department of Defense) focuses on the developing cost-effective, community-based interventions to improve the health
of minoritized and marginalized populations.
